It started out just like any other day. You woke up, got changed and started out on your morning jog. At first everything was going normally, but then all of a sudden, a sharp pain raced through the bottom of your foot. You didn’t think anything of it, and continued your jog. The next morning though, you woke up in excruciating pain, barely able to walk. Frantically you grabbed your phone and started googling what the causes of your pain could be. According to many websites you could have, a sprain, a diabetic foot, plantar fasciitis, or need to amputate. After that you realize that maybe google wasn’t such a great idea.   3. Call your Insurance Provider – If you have health insurance, give your insurance provider a call. They can send you a list of podiatrists that are listed within your health network. You can go through the list and compare your options online.
